Jumping

{January 17, 2011}
The boys love to gather all the pillows around the house and jump off the couch. Hopefully they don't miss the pillows!

Barney

{January 17, 2011}
Ryder brought me the Barney costume and thought he needed it on.

Winter Weather

{January 17, 2011}
We love living in Phoenix in the winter.
We rode our bikes to the park and played until it was almost dark!

Bronco Ride

{January 17, 2011}
The boys love the Bronco just as much as their Dad!
They were SO excited to go for a ride!

Not Looking

Hiding from the camera...
drives me nuts!

Visitors

January 14-17, 2011
Grandpa and Grandma O. and Amy came down for a visit.
I only took one picture while Amy was playing with the boys.
They LOVE Amy!

We also went to the Cemetery to see Tyler's Grandma Katie's grave.
Ryan was super ornery all the way there.
While we were walking through I saw the headstone for
Willis Jacob Choules and thought that name was very familiar.
When I got home I called my mom to see and sure enough it was my Great Grandpa Choules.  He died before I was born, so I never knew him and I didn't realize that he was buried in Mesa. I think his wife is buried in Sandy Utah.

We had a great time with Grandpa and Grandma O.
The boys were super sad to see them go.
Hopefully they come visit again soon!

Blog Books

I spent most of January and February making my blog books.
I love having them done.
I had intended to put 2009 and 2010 together but 2009 is over 400 pages,
and 2010 is going to have to be at least two books.
I need to get with it and get 2010 done.
I don't know why I have been SO behind in EVERYTHING lately.
oh well.

Quiet Books

These two books consumed my life for a few weeks.
I did have a good time making them.
And to see the boys reaction was priceless.
I couldn't have hoped that they would love them more!
Ryder's
"My Ball Book"

 Ryan's
Ryno's Dino's
Ryan has been in love with the show "Dino Dan" on Nickelodeon for awhile now.
He knows all about the dinosaurs on the show.
He can even tell you which ones are herbivores and which ones are carnivores.
The dinosaurs in his book are all on the show.
He was so excited.

Calendar

{Christmas 2010}
Ryan made us the most adorable calendar at school.
All the images were made with his hands/finger prints.
He wrapped it all by himself and made the cutest card ever!

SO cute!

Scooter

Ryan spent some time learning how to ride his scooter.
His "concentration" face kills me!
He always has his tongue out too.

Pine Valley

{December 31, 2010}
We waited until Pine Valley had freshly fallen snow and we headed up to the mountains.
One one Ryan's favorite things to do is play in the snow and have snowball fights.
Ryder looks like the little boy in "The Christmas Story"
poor kid could barely walk.
It was SO cold so we didn't stay long, but long enough to have a snowball fight and go down the hill a few times on the new SLED.

Of course Ryan had to go pee when he was all bundled up.
{don't eat the yellow snow}

The Forgotten Carols

{December 18, 2010}
As soon as we got to Utah we went to see the Forgotten Carols with Tylers family.  It had been a few years since I had been and I was excited to see it again.  It really put me in the Christmas mood.
And who doesn't like to link arms at the end and sing
"We will be Together Forever Someday"?
And on the way out Michael McLean took Stacey's hand and said thanks for coming.  I think Mark was a little jealous :)!  ha ha
Thanks for the good times!

Great Grandpa Gifford

{December 26, 2010}
The boys were playing with this box, I thought it was so cute that my Grandpa got down on the floor and was playing with them.
Grandpa also LOVES to play Rook!
And then we had to say goodbye.

When we left Ryan said "I really like that Grandpa".

To Infinity and Beyond

Grandpa O. borrowed Ryder's buzz wings so he could play with Ryan.
Ryan thought it was AWESOME!

Puzzles

We got on a little kick to work on puzzles over the break.
I think we ended up doing 4.
We used to do a lot of puzzles but then we had kids and the rest is history.

Christmas

The boys played Call of Duty while the girls did something a little more festive.
{GINGERBREAD MEN}

I don't want to say that mine was the best...
but, it was. :)
