Thorn

{November 14, 2010}

Ryan got a HUGE thorn in his foot.
He didn't want anyone to touch it.
I don't blame him, I wouldn't have wanted anyone to touch it either.
Tyler was looking at it and Ryan starting freaking out because he thought dad would touch it.
I finally had to hold him down and make him look the other way so Tyler could get the thorn out.
It was traumatic!
At least now I don't have to ask Ryan to put shoes on before he plays outside:).

Baby Einstein

{November 13, 2010}

Ryder brought me the Baby MacDonald case.
I guess he wanted to watch it.
I put the movie on for him in the tent.
Gave him a poptart and he was good to go!

Goodbye 1985

We sold the truck and Tyler got a car that was made in this century.

Rocks

{November 10, 2010}

It drives me crazy every time we play in the rocks or the sand because Ryder throws rocks and sand down his back and it fills up his diaper.

Turkey

{November 9, 2010}

Ryan brought home this blank turkey from school.
We were supposed to decorate it and send it back to school.
Ryan painted it brown all by himself.
He cut out most of the other pieces all by himself too.
I thought it was turned out pretty cute.
He did a really good job.

Playing with Dad

{November 6, 2010}
It is no secret that my kids like their dad more than any. one.else.
Even me.
I can bribe them with candy to come to me.
They won't.
Not if Dad is home.
But it's true you can't have two "fun" parents.
Tyler plays with them non stop.
No wonder they like him so much!
They boys have also started jumping off the couch.
(from the top)
Ryder can barely do it,
I am sure he will break his leg one of these times,
but for now they have a blast!

Headlamps

{November 5, 2010}
Our light doesn't work out by the BBQ so Tyler started wearing the head lamp out there.
I gave him a lot of crap!
Then a few days later I was cross stitching a thing for my Grandpa, I told Tyler I needed a lamp.
He said "a head lamp?"
I know it's totally dorky but it worked SO well.

Shadows

{November 4, 2010}

Ryan just learned what a shadow is.
I think some of these "shadows" are hilarious.

Close the Door

{November 7, 2010}
Ryder likes to play under the sink. I told him to close the door.
I guess next time I will have to tell him to close the door after he moves out the way.

Popcorn for Breakfast

{November 5, 2010}
The boys had popcorn for breakfast under the slide.
Oh well.

Costumes

{November 9, 2010}
This year I finally took some extra pictures of the boys in their Halloween Costumes.
Ryan was cheesing it in every picture.
Ryder couldn't have cared less.

Founders Day

{November 6, 2010}
Every year Tyler's school throws a huge party known as Founders Day.  Last year they had about ten bounce houses. For the past year Ryan has talked about the houses every time we would drive by the school.  We were way excited to take him this year, but when we got there they only had one bounce house.
Which wouldn't have been a problem except it was an obstacle course and they made the kids race.  He was one of the youngest kids there... and lost every time.
He got SO mad every time he lost.
He looked like he was having fun but he was stomping his feet around and throwing a tantrum most of the time.

At the party they were giving the kids temporary tattoos.
Ryan picked out a dinosaur and Ryder wanted a fire truck.
When it was Ryan's turn he freaked out, he didn't want a wet paper towel on his arm or the nice young lady to touch him.
So we let Ryder go,
he stuck out his arm held it there for the 20 seconds and then was happy as could be with his truck.
We told Ryan "see it's not bad, it only takes a few seconds.
He was too scared!
Now when you ask Ryder where his truck is, he points to his arm.
Funny kid!

Nice beard uh?

Also while we were at the campus we went to see the classroom where Tyler spends all of his time.
